NEW - ONLINE CLASS: Introduction to English Paper Piecing (EPP) - Fabric Bowl

This fabric bowl project is a fantastic and useful introduction to English Paper Piecing (EPP)!

English paper piecing (EPP) involves stabilizing fabric pieces with paper before sewing them into intricate designs. It is most effective for shapes that do not have long straight sides and will require numerous set-in corners, such as hexagons. Because EPP is done by hand, it makes a terrific on-the-go project and requires few supplies to enjoy this mindful, relaxing hobby.

You will learn to cut from templates and how to use pre-made paper templates, how to baste your fabric to the papers and how to correctly stitch your pieces together.

Trust us, you will want to make dozens of these practical cute bowls that use up your fat quarter stash!

This class is split into 2 sessions to allow time for some homework in between. Don't worry, there won't be that much to do in between sessions.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: No sewing knowledge is required to join this class.
Requirements: A supply list will be sent out once your register. Basic EPP notions kits will be available at a discounted price for workshop participants.
Instructor: Faith Wilson
Instructor Bio: Faith is crazy about EPP especially anything with hexagons! She has started a craze at Watergirl Quilt Co. and has all of the staff making these awesome little bowls. You will even see them all over our shop, filled with notions or other goodies!
