Quilted Fall Pumpkin Table Runner - In Person
Want to add a bit of spice to your fall decor? How about some Fall Pumpkins .....and
there won’t be any slimy mess to clean up!
This is a beginner friendly project. You will make three variations of the pumpkin block.
Skills covered include: Strip piecing, constructing patchwork, chain piecing,
nesting seams, snowball corners and how to attach a binding.
This table runner finishes at 15" by 46 1/2". The focus of this class will be on the construction of the blocks and piecing the top. Some finishing of quilting and binding may be required at home.
Preparation work required before class
Fabric should be cut per the specifications noted on the pattern.
Fabric
Oranges - 4 different Fat Eighths or large scraps
Greens - 3 @ 2" x 3 3/4' strips or scraps
Browns - 5 @ 1 1/2" x 2" scraps
Background - 1/2 yard
Outer border - 1/4 yard
Backing fabric - 1 1/2 yard
Binding - 1/3 yard
Batting 22" x 53" batting

Sewing and Quilting supplies:
- sewing machine in working order
- temporary marking tool
- rotary cutter
- seam ripper
- straight pins / clips
- long ruler 6" x 24"
- scissors
- thread
- basting pins
- walking or free motion foot
Our classroom offers you the use of our iron, ironing board and cutting mats. For your comfort, some of our individual sewing tables are mechanical Sit / Stand desks.
Complimentary coffee and tea will be available in our kitchenette. Please bring a travel mug or sealed cup to avoid any spillage.
Machine rental is available, however quantities are limited. Call the store directly for details and / or to book.
Cancellation of Classes or Retreats
Should you decide to cancel your registration for an event, class or retreat, you will receive a full credit to a gift card as long as the cancellation is made more than 2 weeks prior to the class date. After that time, you will forfeit your full registration fee.
If you are unable to attend, you do have the option of finding your own replacement participant but Watergirl Quilt Co. will not assist with this or give any fee credit to the original participant. You would be required to email us the name and contact information of your replacement.
