CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION: Sew Creative Kids March Break Camp - In Person
Watergirl Quilt Co is excited to offer a fun beginner sewing camp for children ages 8-12 years old.
Our instructors, Cathy, Michelle and Maureen will cover the basics of safe sewing machine operation and teach a progressive set of 5 projects that cover the basics of sewing. All the while your child gets to socialize and make new friends.
Supplies and Equipment:
All supplies and the use of a 'bernette' b33 mechanical sewing machine are included.
Campers may not bring their own sewing machine as it becomes too difficult for our staff to know how to operate a variety of machines. We have chosen an age appropriate sewing machine and will teach the campers how to use it correctly and safely for sewing success.

Campers will make 5 projects that will increase slightly in difficulty each day as their confidence and skill set grows:
- pillowcase
- coaster
- placemat
- mesh bag
- apron

Parent or Legal Guardian will need to sign a consent form for the child to participate before the start of the event.
Cancellation of Classes or Retreats
Should you decide to cancel your registration for an event, class or retreat, you will receive a full credit to a gift card as long as the cancellation is made more than 2 weeks prior to the class date. After that time, you will forfeit your full registration fee.
If you are unable to attend, you do have the option of finding your own replacement participant but Watergirl Quilt Co. will not assist with this or give any fee credit to the original participant. You would be required to email us the name and contact information of your replacement.

| Requirements: | Cost includes supplies. Kids are required to bring a lunch and water bottle (with lid/spill-proof if possible) *NO NUTS PLEASE* We require a minimum of 4 kids per to run the workshop. Class size will be limited to 8 children to allow for individual attention and learning from fellow classmates as well as the instructors. Refund Policy: No refunds for no shows or cancellations within 2 weeks of camp commencement. Cancellations received more than 2 weeks before class start, will be able to redistribute their class fees to another class/camp/store products. We are unable to guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Conduct Policy: We ask that students behave in a way that demonstrates self-control, responsibility, respect, and age-appropriate maturity. Horseplay, dangerous behavior, using materials in an irresponsible manner, etc., is ABSOLUTELY not allowed and any student conducting him or herself in a manner deemed dangerous will be held accountable and a parent will be contacted immediately. Our goal is to have a safe environment where all children can feel comfortable and secure. |

| Instructor Bio: | Owner Michelle and team member Cathy have over 50 years combined experience working in the education field. Maureen raised twins and is an expert in many kinds of sewing. Our assistant, Colin learned to sew in elementary school and is part of our high school staff members. |
