Scrap Tamers - Volume 3 - Strips, Strings and Pillow - on ZOOM
Join Susan Madu; Modern Blended Quilts in this third of her "Scrap Tamer" series . This is a virtual demonstration / workshop over Zoom. The intent is to show how to use scraps, fat quarter, selvages and orphan blocks. As well as being mindful of our economic challenges that many are facing.
This demo will be recorded. The recording will be available via DROPBOX for 2 weeks only - until June 12, 2024.
Class start time posted on the Watergirl Quilt Co site is based on Eastern Time (US and Canada). Class duration is 90 minutes.
There are no required materials for this class as it will be demonstration filled with lot of suggestions of what to do with your scraps. Perhaps a pencil and paper would be a great for jotting down your notes. As will you will be provided the the instructor's notes and instructions via a Dropbox link.
During the Scrap Tamers - Volume 3 "Strips, Strings and Pillow", Susan will be showing us how she makes striped and string blocks. She will go on to show us how she makes a flanged zippered pillow; finished with binding. How can you go wrong with a pillow that looks as good from back as it does in the front!
Susan will demonstrate a technique to make lettering. As well, Watergirl Quilt Co has brought in some laser cut words/expressions that you can use to embellish your pillow.

Cancellation of Classes or Retreats
Should you decide to cancel your registration for an event, class or retreat, you will receive a full credit to a gift card as long as the cancellation is made more than 2 weeks prior to the class date. After that time, you will forfeit your full registration fee.
If you are unable to attend, you do have the option of finding your own replacement participant but Watergirl Quilt Co. will not assist with this or give any fee credit to the original participant. You would be required to email us the name and contact information of your replacement.
