Mother's Day Retreat Day - High Tea Edition!

Why sew alone when you can be amongst friends?

Let's sew away the day together!   

This sew day celebrates Mother's and Caregivers, but you don't have to be a Mom to enjoy this day with us.  Enjoy a boxed high tea lunch and a gift of a flower.

Enjoy this sewing day retreat with other sewists / quilters by bringing your sewing machine, tools and works in progress or your hand sewing projects. 

On this sew day retreat, Cathy will teach you to make a small tray to hold your notions or other small items.  This 30 minute activity includes the supplies and you will still have the rest of the day to work on your own sewing projects that you bring with you.

Book a spot just for yourself or sign up with your friends.

In our classroom at Watergirl Quilt Co.
You will be able to enjoy the use of our:
- tables; sit / stand mechanical raise and lower
- chairs NOTE: for added comfort bring your own seat cushion
- iron and ironing boards
- cutting mats on large table for cutting 


Required materials
- bring what ever you want to work on and what is required to do so.


Boxed High Tea Lunch (Lunch will be provided and included in the price) 
For our Mother's Day Sew Your Day, we are including a boxed High Tea lunch.  You will be provided a boxed lunch containing sandwiches and treats that can be enjoyed at your sewing station.  


If you have any other dietary requirements, you are welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks. 
Please indicate in the checkout notes if you require gluten free option or have any food allergies.


Allergy alerts
Customers suffer from various allergies and medical conditions.  To help avoid any incidents, we request you do not bring or wear the following:
- Seafood
- Peanuts
- Perfumes / scented products

Complimentary
During your sew day, we will also provide you with coffee and tea at no cost.


Machine rentals
Don't feel like bringing your machine with you?  Rental machines are available (limited quantity).  Please contact our store directly to confirm current pricing and availability. 

Arrival
You may enter via the main door of the store or if someone is in the classroom they can open it’s door to make it easier to bring your things in.   Please note that you will be allowed in as soon as the front opens at 9:30 am. You may notice staff in the store earlier, but they will be busy preparing for store opening.

Parking
Limited parking spots are available in the parking lot at store level.  Please refer to signage to ensure you are NOT parked in a spot that is designated for resident parking.  Free long term town parking is available on the river side of our building, to the left. There is NO parking allowed on the Water Street. E-chargers are available within the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot  
NOTE: there is time limit for the parking in the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot. 

Cancellation of Class/Retreat?

Should you decide to cancel your registration more than 2 weeks prior to the class date, you will receive a full store credit on a Watergirl Quilt Co. gift card.  If you  cancel 2 weeks or less prior to the class date, you will forfeit your full registration fee.

If you are unable to attend, you do have the option of finding your own replacement participant, but Watergirl Quilt Co. will not assist with this nor give any fee credit to the original participant.  You would be required to email us the name and contact information of your replacement.

 If Watergirl Quilt Co. has to cancel an event that you have paid for, you will receive a full refund.  Occasionally classes and retreats may be cancelled due to not meeting the minimum required 4 participants has not been reached prior to class date.  In this case, a full refund will be issued to you via your original payment method; if payment method was by credit or debit.  If the original payment was by cash, you will be issued a full refund on a Watergirl Quilt Co. gift card.  These refunds will be issued within 14 days of the cancellation.  You may also apply the credit amount to a different class.
