Grand Opening Day!!!!
Good morning Everyone!
Well it is a rainy morning here in Eastern Ontario but you cannot rain on our parade at Watergirl Quilt Co. as we are so excited to be celebrating our official grand opening of both our online store and our physical location at 123 King Street West in Prescott, Ontario.
It has been a roller coaster ride these last three months! Launching my dream business during an international pandemic has certainly been challenging and the challenges continue. However, thanks to all of you passionate quilters and makers out there who have supported me on this journey, we have arrived at our destination! Today is the day and tomorrow as well, we will party like quilters!
Get your stitch on at the virtual opening this evening at 5pm on Zoom. There are still some spots left so make sure that you register right away! We will check the registrations and send out your zoom invitation later this afternoon, if you haven't already received it last night. Get yourself a beverage, stitch while you sip, maybe win a door prize and do some online shopping after the event.
For those of you who would like to join us for our ribbon cutting ceremony at 1pm on Saturday, July 17th, we welcome you to Prescott and ask that you please physical distance as best as you can. Drop in shopping starts at 12:30pm until 4:30pm on Saturdays. Please remember that face masks are required in the store.
Let's celebrate the opening with a promotion or two! So first off, all pattern kits and fabric bundles are 20% off in-store and online until midnight on July 18th. All of these kits and bundles have been curated by our wonderful staff and cut in our shop. Jennifer, Margaret, Faith, Ann and Kathy have been working so hard to learn the website system and to prepare the store for your shopping experience. I am so proud of our "Watergirls" who really share my passion and vision to inspire the craft and creativity of Canadian Quilters.
Secondly, every time you make a purchase in-store and online until July 30th, you will be entered in the draw for the wonderful door prizes but in addition to that, on July 17th and 18th you will get an extra ballot entered into the draw for a copy of EQ7 along with a support guide. One copy is for online ballots and one for in store. Hint, shop at both!
On top of that, we have some giveaways! For every in-store and-or online purchase that you make today or tomorrow we have some complimentary items for you:
- Spend a minimum of $100 before taxes and receive a packet of Soak to wash your face masks or delicate fabrics.
- or spend over $150 before taxes and receive a mini-charm pack of fabric (remember for online orders, shipping is always complimentary at this purchase amount)
These complimentary items are limited in quantity so join in the party as soon as you can, while supplies last!
