Fall in Love with Rolling Romance Workshop!

Good morning Crew!

Did you have a great weekend? I hope that you enjoyed some sunshine and some quilting! I started a new quilt top yesterday and will share my progress with you soon on social medial. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Today is the registration deadline for the workshop with the Internationally Acclaimed Fiber Artist, Dale Allen-Rowse who is also known as the Quilting Cowboy.

The Rolling Romance Pattern is a fun and easy way to learn how to both appliqué and piece circles into a quilt. This pattern was specifically designed to use up those extra fat quarters that you've had laying around. Now come on, we all know that you have a few of those shoved into your cupboards!! You will get a PDF pattern emailed to you, so no need to even leave home to prepare for this fabulous learning opportunity.

Can you picture this quilt in a bold, bright version of fabrics? Perhaps a fun quilt for a child? Use up your stash of cheerful colours? Or a masculine version like Dale made? Once you learn the technique, you can play with the arrangement of the blocks. Borders not your thing? Add more background fabric. Get in touch with us if you would like assistance to do the math to change up the pattern and make it your own!

This is a rare opportunity to learn with Quilting Cowboy. He is normally on the road most of the year but due to the pandemic, he is offering Zoom workshops based on learning a technique, not focused on finishing a whole quilt like most workshops do. So you could make the whole quilt or even turn your block into a placemat or table runner. This is an intermediate skilled workshop.

Dale’s quilts have appeared in the Ontario Museum of History & Art, Las Vegas Night Beat where he’s been the feature cover story, numerous quilt shows around Southern California and most recently was asked to submit his work to be considered as set design for the NBC TV Show ‘Making It’ starring Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. We also have his almost sold-out Pottery Collection.

Click HERE to register today. You don't have to travel to an international quilt show to take this class. For $45 you can stay safe in your own home, have all your favourite tools at hand, learn or improve upon the technique of using circles in quilts and be with other quilters at the same time. If you have never used Zoom before, we are happy to do a demo with you. Just contact us.

Stay safe, stay hopeful and do something that makes you smile!
