⚓ World Quilting Day Virtual Retreat on March 20th
    There is still time to join us for sew-time in break out rooms, a trunk show by Erie Quilt Art, prize draws, stretching break with Rose Parr of Healthy Quilting, demos and more. No supplies needed, just your device and your desire to have fun! Registration cut off is Friday at 5pm. Participants will be emailed a schedule of the day and their Zoom registration, this week. Treat a friend and spread the love of quilting.

Join us for an evening lecture with Canadian Krista Hennebury (pattern designer and certified Aurifil ambassador) as we learn all there is to know about the various weights of threads and how to choose the best one to make your project shine! Krista is offering a workshop the next day to play with her first curated collection of Aurifil thread.  

 

Looking for some new modern decor? Join Susan Madu as she teaches her latest pattern release Modern Expressions Table Runner and learn to precisely make piano key borders of a 1/2" finished size! If you haven't taken a class with Susan, don't delay! Our Crew love learning with Susan because she teaches excellent strategies to make your projects precise and enjoyable to create.

⚓ Education Centre Opening and By Annie Trunk Show
We are so excited to be close to opening our new Education Centre at 119 King St. West in Prescott, just 2 doors away from our retail shop. Stay tuned to our social media pages and your newsletter for more details but we think you will be just as excited we are! Have you ever wanted to try quilting your own quilts on a longarm? Well our new machine arrives next week and eventually you will be able to rent it yourself!

So to kick off the fun, we will be hosting a large By Annie Trunk Show which was one of our prizes for being named 2nd Runner Up in the Local Quilt Shop Contest 2021. Some of the boxes started arriving today and the sample bags are stunning! Trunk shows dates and registration for this complimentary event will be posted soon at our website. There will be 2 weeks of fun, prizes and By Annie kits and promos to celebrate our achievement with all of you who put us here! It's almost like having a quilt show right in Prescott but don't worry, you can participate in person or virtually, too. Details coming soon!
