Looking for quilting fun and friendship? Look no further!
Watergirl Quilt Co and Dragons Heart Quilt Shop are back again for our 3rd virtual retreat, uniting quilters from the East and the West.
Stay in the comfort of your home or meet up in one home with a few of your local quilting friends, login to Zoom and enjoy sewing, learning and building friendships with other quilters from near and far away. Oh, and no lugging of all your supplies either!
Why the tongue twister of a name for this retreat?
We are focused on teaching you how to make 4 easy projects that can draw from your stash, whenever you need a little gift to give a hostess or for any kind of celebration.
There are very few supplies required for this retreat. Our gift to you is to keep this as inexpensive as possible during the wind up of the holiday season, help you start making your gifts and of course, there will be fun and friendship!
Once you register, you will be emailed a folder of documents with all the supply lists, schedule, Zoom invitation, link to our private FB Group and a couple other cute surprises. You can start prepping right away!
General Overview of the Schedule:
November 12th :
- 4pm EST the Zoom room opens
- 5pm EST to 6:45pm EST enjoy a welcome toast, games and sew a Mystery Craft (you will get a supply list) followed by open sewing time in Zoom
November 13th:
- 10am EST: Morning coffee meet up (sewing, fellowship, show and tell)
- 11am EST to 5pm EST: Spend the day making two gift projects (about an hour each), have free sewing time in break out rooms, exercise breaks and a scavenger hunt game!
- You can stay on the Zoom sewing and visiting until late Saturday evening
November 14th:
- 10am EST: Morning coffee meet up (sewing, fellowship, show and tell)
- 11am EST to 4pm EST: Spend the day making one more small project, have free sewing time in break out rooms, enjoy a yoga break with Dale Pearson, view and cheer on Lynn and Michelle in a quilting challenge and we end the day with Show & Tell.
- You may stay on the Zoom past 4PM EST if you wish to chat and sew with others but our official goodbye is at 4pm.
