Watergirl Quilt Co, is competing again this year in the 5th Annual Local Quilt Shop Contest hosted by ByAnnie. Last year, we were the 2nd Runner Up! We were also the first Canadian shop to win a prize in the history of the contest. Go Team Watergirl!

This annual contest is dedicated to supporting local economies and the timeless tradition of sewing. 

Each year sewists around the world vote for their favourite local quilt shops and share what makes them special.

Watergirl Quilt Co is your shop to go to for fun, learning, and friendship. We offer fantastic modern fabrics, notions, quilting supplies, workshops and retreats. We have gathered a diverse community of quilters from all over Canada and even further. We hope that you love being part of that community and want to keep growing it with us. Would you mind telling others our message?

Last year, Watergirl Quilt Co. was the proud Grand Prize Winner of the Canada Post Tales of Triumph Contest for Breakthrough Marketing. Quite an accomplishment for a small business that only opened in April 2020. The contest judges were very impressed with the way we engage with all of you in so many ways. 

We are counting on your support for a chance to win major prizes that can help Watergirl Quilt Co. to thrive, as well as develop our reputation among the global quilting community. We would love to share the prizes with you. The trunk shows! The giveaways! We had so much fun with the winnings last year.
