Melanie Rowland: After many years working as a Graphic Designer, Melanie set about pursuing her love of art and developing her own style. She is inspired by children's picture books, nature and the environment around her. Her goal is to create patterns and creatures that are charming, engaging and full of character. Melanie's love of Illustration can be traced back to her childhood and being captivated by favourite books such as “The Magic Faraway Tree” and the “Narnia” series. She joins Studio E Fabrics with the launch of her “Welcome to our Neighborwood” collection. Melanie lives by the sea in beautiful Capetown, South Africa with her husband, two daughters, one horse and two dogs.
