Hexametric- Studio 26 by Lethargic Lass is based in Ottawa and is a modern pattern designer who has been featured in several prominent modern quilt magazines and groups.
This quilt creates a wonderful transparency effect, as if the hexagons were overlapping. Select 3 main colours and then add 2 more that look like they could be a mix of fabrics 1 and 2, and a mix of fabrics 2 and 3.
This pattern assumes a usable fabric width of 40”. This pattern uses a 1⁄4” seam.
The finished quilt size is 52.5” x 67.5”.
Materials:
• Fabric A – 1/2 yard
• Fabric B – 1/4 yard
• Fabric C – 1/2 yard
• Fabric D – 1/4 yard
• Fabric E – 1/4 yard
• Background – 2 1/4 yards • Backing – 3.5 yards
• 58” x 72” piece of batting
